NFL Flag Policies and Rule FAQ’s:

 

1. Pitches, laterals, and backward passes are allowed, but only behind the line of scrimmage.

2. Interceptions are taken where/when the player is downed.

3. Defensive coaches must be off the field when the ball is snapped.

4. If blitzed in the no-run zone the QB can still run the ball.

5. QB CAN RUN IF QB BLIZTED.

6. The defense must be 1 yard off the ball.  In Division 1, they should be 5 yards off the ball.

7. No run zones are eliminated in Divisions 1 and 2 only.  You can run the ball on any down.​

8. You cannot blitz in Divisions 1 and 2, therefore the Quarterback cannot run in Divisions 1 and 2.

9. Division 1 will use a coach as a Steady QB to run the game more smoothly.  We may let kids be quarterbacks later in the year depending on how the season progresses.

10. Coaches and parents will refrain from any altercations with the refs and other teams.  This is rec football and we need to set a good example for the kids.
